Race Rules
PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS
* The event is open to everyone. Participants under the age of 18 can only participate in the 6K,12K ve Castle Race courses with their parents' signed approval documents. Participants aged 65 and over can participate in the competition with an ECG and a health report from a cardiologist.
**Relevant documents must be submitted to the organization prior to the race. Participants in the 22K, 38K, and 54K races must submit a sports-related medical report obtained within the last 6 months and/or a license obtained from the relevant running federation. A medical report is not required for the 6K, 12K, and Castle races.
GENERAL RULES
* Participants compete within their own responsibilities by signing the Risk Acceptance form.
* Competitors must wear their bib numbers visibly at all times.
* Competitors must pass all checkpoints throughout the race. Competitors who do not pass the checkpoints are disqualified.
* Athletes who leave the competition are responsible for informing the organization.
* The rights of the photographs and other images taken during the competition belong to the organization, no rights can be claimed.
* Listening to music with headphones is prohibited during the competition.
*Registration is personal. You cannot transfer your registration to anyone else or to other events.
*Competitors may receive partial supply and assistance at certain points on the basis of partial self-sufficiency.
*Compulsory materials will be checked at the kit table and at the start time. For mandatory materials and detailed information, you can visit www.sapancaultra.org.
* Participants aged 65 and over enter the competition with an ECG and a health report from a cardiologist.
* Competitors must sign a "Participant Commitment" before the race.
* Registration is personal. You cannot transfer your registration to anyone else or to other events.
*The rights of photographs and other images taken during the event belong to the organization, no rights can be claimed.
* Competitors may receive partial supply and assistance at certain points on a partial self-sufficiency basis.
*Mandatory equipment will be checked at the kit collection desk and before the start. The required equipment list and detailed information for each course are available as visuals on the respective course page.
AGE CATEGORY AND AWARDS
*Age categories are based on the race date (dd.mm.yyyy)
*Determined as under 39 years old and under, 40-49 years old, 50 years old and over. A person's age is determined by subtracting the person's birth year from the competition year.
*There is no financial reward in the NG Afyon Frig Ultra Marathon. There may be sponsor rewards. The athlete who successfully completes the race is given a finisher's medal.
*Trophy/shield is given to the winners of the competition. Prizes are not given to those who rank in the general classification in age groups.
*There is no age category in the 6K race. It will be evaluated only in the general classification.
Depending on the bee population in the region, the SST24K track may extend to 24Km. In case of any changes, the organization team will make an announcement during the week of the event.
DISQUALIFICATION
*Not passing through any checkpoints.
*Using shortcuts or vehicles.
*Leaving a participant who needs help alone and not helping.
*Destroying the natural environment or throwing garbage.
*Refusing to be checked by medical personnel.
*Refuse to check mandatory materials.
*Getting support other than intermediate points.
*Bardon runners will be given an additional 1-hour time penalty if they leave their batons before finishing the run.
*Disqualified runners are not allowed to continue the run.
REGISTRATION FEES
- Frig Ultra Marathon registration fees are refundable until 01.04.2026. If you create a refund request within 7 business days until this date, we make a 100% refund. For refunds exceeding 7 working days, there is a 30% deduction.
- After April 01, 2026, registration fees will not be refunded or deferred.
